Field Stone Recording is perfect environment to create.
Located just an hour from Dublin and ten mins off the M4 - it is nestled at the end of a lane, down a lane, down a lane.
On arrival, the first thing you will notice is the stillness.
Our cottage has been fully, but sensitively, restored. It retains all it’s history and charm. But now also boasts, very toasty, under floor heating!
Stay as long as your project requires.
Studio Gear
Our studio is equipped with everything you might need to make your audio vision a reality.
The studio is centered around two Studer mixing consoles. A 1970’s Studer 169 and a 1980’s Studer 962. The pre-amps and EQ’s on these desks rival anything else on the market. The clarity and the space that they give to recordings is truly remarkable.

Production
Mr Studer (aka Brian Kelly) is a musician and music producer. He has over twenty five years experience in the industry and has made music across most genres - including Rock, Pop, Reggae, Afro Fuck, Electronic and Traditional Irish Folk.
Along with his house band (when required) the studio serves as the perfect destination for singers, musicans and bands, new and experienced to create - and to make their vision a reality.
As an experienced musician I have spent over half my life trying to make the perfect environment to create. I have lived in different cities and towns and built many studios. Field Stone Recordings is the culmination of those years of learning - of finding what works.
I believe when we wish to create, truly , that we need to be in a space that feels safe. Where we can be vulnerable. Where we can step away from the world for a moment, to be quiet.
When we have done that, then we are in the right space to hear the inspiration.
